All about making the move workshops

IMUK Making The Move workshops are run by established Independent Midwives (IMs) who are self-employed members of IMUK (Independent Midwives UK). We are dedicated and passionate about providing excellence in maternity care.

All of our members work autonomously and support women with the latest evidence-based care and on a one-to-one basis, a model of care proven time and time again to be the best for women and their babies.

Maybe you are within your last year of Midwifery training and wishing to explore other ways of working once qualified? Did you know you too can be an IM in the UK? Our workshop can offer you the first steps and support towards exploring the option of starting your career as an Independent Midwife working from your own home in your own time.
