Amanda qualified as a midwife in 2009 and went straight into Independent Practice as a member of IMUK.

Her first stint as a board member was from 2013 – 2015 and then returned in 2017 and has continued to support IMUK throughout the pandemic and beyond as Membership and Admin.

She is now retired as an IM in  Shropshire, with partner Bev and Max the Siberian Husky.

Amanda has two grown-up daughters, Emily and Lucy.
