Beth qualified as a midwife in 2016 and worked within a standalone birthing unit supporting families during pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. She has since worked in Dubai for 18 months, helped set up a home birth team in Surrey and then a continuity team in Hampshire providing homebirth and birth centre support. She moved into independent practice in 2023 and hasn’t looked back!
She joined the board in 2024 as she has a passion to ensure there is robust support in place for both independent midwives and also the women and families choosing independent care.
She lives in Suffolk with her husband, two children (including her little boy who was born at home in 2025!) and her German shepherd Murphy.
